Program Features
● Korea Studies explores in the first-place various facets of Korea, including its language, history, culture, politics, economy, and geography.
● Through the program students will seek to understand Korea, which is growing in close relationship with the world, from a global perspective, and cultivate the ability to properly convey Korea's rich and unique identity to the world.
● The program’s goal is to foster experts who can contribute to strengthening Korea’s cultural and economic international competitiveness.
[1st/2nd year]
Students will lay a strong foundation by immersing themselves in the Korean language and acquiring fundamental knowledge about Korea.
Courses focus on Korean reading, listening, writing, vocabulary, grammar, presentations, discussions, and comprehension of Korean texts.
[3rd/4th year]
Students will deepen their understanding of Korean studies across diverse fields such as politics, society, culture, history, economy, law, and administration, exploring the intricacies of Korea's past and present.
Education Goals
● Graduates will be able to bridge cultures and foster global relations by collaborating with government agencies, non-governmental and international organizations, dedicated to promoting Korea's cultural and diplomatic outreach on the global stage.
● Graduates can explore opportunities in international trade, collaborating with trade experts, leading domestic and foreign corporations, and overseas branches of Korean companies.
● Graduates can contribute to the dissemination of Korean culture worldwide through strategic planning and promoting initiatives offering experiences to global audiences.
